If you are a new Bracknell Forest resident, you will first need to register for an account on Citizen Access Revenues. Citizen Access Revenues is our council tax website.
On the Citizen Access Revenues website you can:
- set up or amend an existing direct debit
- view your council tax information
- tell us that you have moved (for council tax purposes)
- apply for council tax discounts
To find out how much council tax is payable, see the council tax charges page. The amount payable depends on what area you live in and what band your property is in.
You can pay in the following ways:
Direct debit
Direct debit is the easiest way to pay. It is safe, secure and you can choose to pay on the 1st or the 20th day of each month. You can also choose to pay by 10 or 12 monthly instalments.
You can set this up on Citizen Access Revenues.
Online
You can pay your council tax online through our online payments system.
You will need to provide:
- your account name
- account number
- your address
- the amount payable

Post Office
You can make a payment in person at any Post Office. The barcode on your council tax bill can be used to make a payment. Just hand the barcoded bill to the counter assistant with your payment to get a receipt.
Payzone retail outlet
You can make a payment in person by cash at any Payzone retail outlet. The barcode on your council tax bill can be used to make a payment. Just hand the barcoded bill to the counter assistant with your payment to get a receipt.
